Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and for me that means experimenting and planning. I absolutely LOVE anything pumpkin and I’m pretty sure I could eat it year round, but my hubby and other family members aren’t so pumpkin obsessed so for them I have to come up with dessert alternatives which usually means some sort of apple dish. So I thought it would be fun to share two of my favorite Fall inspired desserts, Pumpkin Muffins and Apple Bake and I’ll be using Country Crock baking sticks to make them super deelish!
Combine 1/2 c. sugar, lemon juice, water and cinnamon in bottom of small baking pan. Slice in apples. Blend remaining 1/2 c. sugar, flour, salt and butter until crumbly. Spread over apples and pat smooth. Bake at 375°F. for 40-50 minutes, until apples are tender and crust is browned. Serve hot with whipped topping.
Which ever of these you choose they are sure to be a hit! I’ll be making BOTH!!
