Day 20, No Yoga! AHHHH

Good Saturday Afternoon!

It’s rainy and gray again here in New England. I believe Fall really is on it’s way, just not the bright and vibrant Fall New England is famous for. Hopefully that will come soon though. There is nothing better than being able to sleep with the windows open and feel the cool breeze. OOOO and then in the morning it just smells so good and makes you want to go pick apples and find pumpkins. I LOVE it. Fall is seriously the only reason i haven’t started walking back to Texas after all of these years.

OK so now that you’ve enjoyed my ode to Fall, LOL ;). Let’s re-cap the morning…..

It must be a full moon soon because Zachary was a wild man in his sleep last night. He rolled over and whacked himself in the head at t around 3:30AM and shortly there after the hubby wasn’t feeling well. He had a horrible stomach ache and we didn’t get back to sleep for a while. All 3 of us slept until 8:45AM. So I skipped Yoga….hate hate hate that! Sundays are usually my off days from working out but I will have to squeeze some cardio in tomorrow morning before our busy Sunday starts. Did any of you go to Yoga? So the hubby is working ALLLLLLLLLL day today so that means it’s just the Zac Man and Mommy!!! And since it’s gross outside we will just do a shopping and stock up for the week. I often get asked why I shop every week and not just one huge shopping a couple of times a week. So I will fill ya in! I find if I shop weekly and plan my week night meals we stay on track, plus with out tons of excess food and snacks in the house I’m less likely to over eat. I buy what I need for our breakfasts and dinners and then I pick up a few random items for lunches and snacks. Our lunches are usually always light and snacks can be fruit, yogurts, nuts, or a shake. It works for us and has been working this whole time, plus I love having the weekly trip with Zachary.

For breakfast this morning I had a Peach Chobani yogurt shortly followed by a PB Banana Wrap Up!

You Need:

-1 tbsp all natural low fat PB

-1 small banana sliced

-1 wheat tortilla, warmed in the microwave

-sprinkle of cinnamon

Spread PB on warmed tortilla, add sliced banana and sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll up and enjoy!


MMMMMMM I love this little snack, so filling.

Now I’m going to write up my lists for Target and Whole Foods, check coupons, and figure out lunch.
