Day 10, Double Digits…..

Hello Wednesday!

Well this morning I woke up at around 5AM with a jack hammer going off in my head. I haven’t had a migraine in so long guys. The ironic part is I literally thought about it last night! I guess by thinking about it and reading my “hate” mail I sort of brought it upon myself. I did take some Excedrin Migraine but when my alarm went off at 7:30AM to get up and get ready for the gym my head wasn’t havin’ it. So my wonderful hubby got up and tended to Mr. Zachary and then as a nice surprise he brought him in to cuddle up with me and watch some morning TV. Zachary and I stayed all snuggly for a good hour while Mr.GGH pounded away at the weights down at Fit World!

After some much needed cuddling with my little man we roused up and had some breakfast. Zachary enjoyed Banana Oatmeal and a yummy banana, plum, and grape thick puree on the side…oh and like 3/4 of my Strawberry Shake LOL. Zachary LOVES Amazing Grass shakes! He tries to steal my cup every time I make one. So if a very fussy 18 month old eater likes it you know it can’t taste that bad.

GGH Strawberry Shake:

-2 cups Light Vanilla Soy Milk

-1 6 oz package frozen Strawberries

-1 1/2 cups Fresh Spinach

-1 scoop Chocolate Amazing Grass

Combine all goodies in blender, blend until thick and creamy, pour and enjoy!


MMMMM and fussy eater approved ;).

So now I’m just deciding on lunch…..I’m being a fussy eater. I’m feeling a cereal craving for some reason. Maybe I’ll do 1 cup of Honey Nut Cheerios with 3/4 cup of Light Vanilla Soy Milk! MMMMMM and then I know I will be hungry after that so I will most likely grab a Myoplex Bar to tide me over until dinner. Dinner……what am I going to have for dinner?

So today is Day 10 of my 100 Day Challenge! Already in double digits….time should start flying by now. Thank you to all of you who have been sending Ellen messages, I truly appreciate it. Now keep it up ;).

  • I so did not know that I could comment until you tweeted that question lol. I enjoy cereal but it does not keep me full for too long. Eggs keep me full much longer. I may try that shake with a bowl of cereal since that seems like a whole lot of shake πŸ˜‰ I am scared of spinach in it, but I will try it ;)It doesn’t hurt to try it right? I am so glad that Jordan Knight started following you or I probably never would have heard of Amazing Grass or saw some of your interesting recipes, they seem so realistic to make πŸ˜‰ Some recipes I see in books and online seem too complicated to make but yours seem so simple and tasty πŸ˜‰ Thanks for posting the recipes and good luck with your challenge. I have been soda free for 10 days, that is a major feat for me πŸ˜‰
