It’s here….our next Challenge! April is all about the Squat. What is a Squat you ask?
Squats are relatively simple compound exercises that develop leg, hip and glute strength and control. Keeping your feet hip-width apart, your toes pointing straight ahead, your knees over your toes and preventing your ankles and knees from rolling in or out are all aspects of good squat form.
You will either LOVE or HATE these but they DO work and they target so many muscles that as ladies we wish were a little tighter.
Remember that this Challenge is in addition to your regular work out routine or can be done alone if you’re on a rest day. As our numbers rise you can spread your number out through out the day, no need to Squat all at once if you don’t feel comfortable doing so. You may add dumbells or weights of any kind if you’d like. This Challenge is just to get you moving, do as much or as little….it’s up to YOU!
