Detox Progress

Well HELLO!!

So sorry I have been away, this little thing called LIFE keeps popping up ;-).



But I have been LOVING all of you checking in with me via Facebook and Twitter. You all have been rocking our GGHDetox13 and I couldn’t be more excited for you. Some of you have lost actual pounds and have seen the scale move and others have reported inches gone and an overall BETTER feeling about themselves, which ever it is I’m soooooooo thrilled! Here’s a little glimpse of how I have been doing on our Detox so far….



I have to say that I really thought I was going to miss a glass of wine at night or a beer on Sunday’s (and OK I have thought about it) but now that we are 13 days in it’s not so bad! I don’t miss bread either……yes you read that correctly I don’t miss bread! I do miss Chobani though and I’m thinking of bringing that back as breakfast on my gym days. But I have lost 6 pounds total and I feel good and my “bloated” feeling decreases daily, so I’ll take it.

    I have been quietly following you on this journey as you detox and I am so impressed with how well you have been doing!! this is something I know I could benefit from, but I have such a hard time with my own discipline, especially when it comes to food!

    Awesome! Keep up the good work! I think I need a caffeine detox (or at least a drastic reduction) 🙂 When I’m feeling bloaty, I try to cut out dairy and carbs for a few days and it totally does help. Looking forward to hearing more about GGHDetox13!

    Congrats on the 6lbs!! I am sort of detoxing myself, no wheat products, no (or very, very little) sugar. In just 3 days I feel SO much better!!!

    I’ve really been paying attention to what I eat. I’ve lost a little over 2 lbs.

    Sugar is a tough one!! But I try to get my sweet treat fix in with fruit, protein shakes that taste like ice cream and coffee with sugar free flavored creamer!

    I will have to check into your detox diet. I have researched several detox programs but lack the discipline to start. Thanks for the inspiration. I’d love to rid my diet of bread and make make scale move in the “right” direction! Best wishes for a healthy 2013.
