April Squat-A-Thon

It’s here….our next Challenge! April is all about the Squat. What is a Squat you ask?

5981917705f378579d1eaf1d930cd842Squats are relatively simple compound exercises that develop leg, hip and glute strength and control. Keeping your feet hip-width apart, your toes pointing straight ahead, your knees over your toes and preventing your ankles and knees from rolling in or out are all aspects of good squat form.

You will either LOVE or HATE these but they DO work and they target so many muscles that as ladies we wish were a little tighter.

Remember that this Challenge is in addition to your regular work out routine or can be done alone if you’re on a rest day. As our numbers rise you can spread your number out through out the day, no need to Squat all at once if you don’t feel comfortable doing so. You may add dumbells or weights of any kind if you’d like. This Challenge is just to get you moving, do as much  or as little….it’s up to YOU!

So here we go!!

GGH April Challenge

Remember, do what you can, have fun, and get ready for a Better Behind and Core!!

Healthy Wishes, T

  1. AWESOME!!!! Thanks for sharing, and keep up the fabulous work!!!

  2. Our ladies group started a 30 day Squat Challenge June 1, 2014. I can’t believe how perky my bottom looks! Also, my hips and thighs look amazing – my thighs are less jiggly too, not to mention my love handles! I pinned your article last year. If it weren’t for our coates challenge, I would not have returned to your article to learn how to squat properly. Thank you so much!

  3. I think I can manage this one, wrist fracture and all!

  4. Awesome! It does seem challenging! Squats are def. not easy! I’ll be joining you on this! 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
