4 Weeks of Fabulous

The Holidays are upon us!!! That means spending money, wrapping gifts, decorating, parties, parties, and more parties….which in turn leads to food, food, and more food….and you can top all of that off with a drink here and some dessert there!

With all of that coupled with the stress of the Holidays a little weight gain is inevitable…..unless you have a plan! Now this plan shouldn’t simply be geared towards weight loss alone. It should be a spiritual and physical journey of self discovery with the end result being some pounds shed and a new lease on a healthy active life! So how are we to do this?

Simple! 4 Weeks of Fabulous! Each week you will have a new assignment and each day you will be responsible for checking in with me and weekly with a friend who will hold you accountable, and most importantly, that you can trust. Below is the entire month’s line up!!! There are no excuses and NO surprises. Planning this out and knowing what you have to do will set you up for success! (Week 1 will begin on Monday December 6th, but the 1st assignment begins on Wednesday Dec 1st.)

Wednesday Dec 1st: You will weigh in and write down the REAL number. You will then find your real life accountability partner and tell them that number, the REAL number. Saying it out loud makes it real. If you need an accountability partner I would be more than happy to be that for you, and please note your emails are for my eyes only. You will also need to begin your weekly journal entries. On this 1st day I want you to log your weight and how you felt when that number came up in front of you. Were you shocked? Happy? Disgusted? Mad? Sad? Whatever it is you need to write it down. Then below that entry I want you to write down 4 goals that are realistic. They can be anything!!! Drop 2 pounds the first week, meet new people, ask someone out on a date, spend more time with family, go hiking…ANYTHING.

Onto the 4 weeks part!!!

Week of Monday Dec 6th: Weigh In, log in your journal a minimum of once, check in with Tera at least once, make contact with your accountability partner and update them. CHALLENGE: Try 1 NEW food and drink a MINIMUM of 64 oz’s of water a day. 

Week of Monday Dec 13th: Weigh In, log in your journal a minimum of once, check in with Tera at least once, make contact with your accountability partner and update them. CHALLENGE: Talk to someone in your life that you don’t normally have conversations with and try 1 NEW work out/activity/class/DVD-Extra Credit invite your new friend to the class with you or out for a coffee!

Week of Monday Dec 20th: Weigh In, log in your journal a minimum of once, check in with Tera at least once, make contact with your accountability partner and update them. CHALLENGE: Wear something totally out of the box to work, school, a party etc.. This is the week of Christmas so you’ll be quite busy! This will be the best time to jazz yourself up a bit and really put yourself out there! GO FOR IT!

Week of Monday Dec 27th: OUR FINAL WEEK!!! Weigh In, log in your journal a minimum of once, check in with Tera at least once, make contact with your accountability partner and update them. CHALLENGE: Tell everyone in your life why they mean something to you and about the 4 weeks of self reflection you’ve just experienced. Tell them why you did it and if they need to get healthy share withthem how you now have the power and strength to help them get healthy! This is the week of New Year’s, a time to really start fresh! a New Year is like a monday on steroids…you have 365 chances to take what you’ve accomplished in 4 weeks and times it by 10!!! Reflect back on those 4 goals from the 1st entry and TACKLE them if you haven’t already. Revel in your success. Be proud, you’re all done!

I can’t wait to start this journey with all of you! Don’t worry there will be emails, work out tips and recipes along the way! I’m hoping to have guest posters for GGH through out the month to inspire you and keep you going!!! This is going to be an amazing month! Focus on you for a little bit each day and remember that you’re worthy and you will float right on through!
